The Peavey F-1200B Bass Amp Head takes its cues from the classic F-800B Bass Amp Head circa 1971 and revitalizes it with 1200 watts of true RMS Peavey power. Its discrete BJT (bipolar junction transistor) preamp circuitry has been painstakingly recreated using similar thru-hole components and was originally voiced by Hartley Peavey.

It features a three-band EQ with Treble, Middle, and Bass controls. A six-band inductive EQ circuit divides into six segments, each controlling a specific band of frequencies, resulting in player-defined tone that can be dialed into any configuration.
