Drummers Dream Shop

Music knows no boundaries. At Dream Music, we like to stay across whats happening in other parts of the world to bring the very best and latest to our customers.

Recently Sav and Curtis travelled to North America following in the footsteps of their forefather (Jimmy their boss) to bring you some of the most unique sounds.

Travels to The Home of Cymbals

Drummers Dream is one of the biggest Sabian Dealers in the Southern Hemisphere. Sav and Curtis were recently invited to visit the Sabian factory in CANADA.

The boys selected some of the greatest musical cymbals to land on the shores of Terra Australis.

While at the factory, Sav and Curtis had hands-on experience of the entire manufacturing process of the cymbals including the masterful art of hand hammering.

Sabian graciously granted the team exclusive access to Area 51 The Cymbal Vault, The Vault is where Sabian keeps their best work including prototype cymbals, one-of-a-kind cymbals, and artist cymbals.

Sav and Curtis hand-selected and modified 100 cymbals from the Vault including rides, hi hats, crashes, effects and splash cymbals. It was a long and strenuous exercise but most rewarding as all these treasures will soon grace our store back in Sydney.

All the cymbals are stamped with V Custom Shop and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Dont miss out on the rare opportunity to grab yourself a piece of history with a one-of-a-kind cymbal!

Vater Drum Stick Tour

During their trip Sav and Curtis also visited the Vater drum stick factory in Boston and the LP Cowbell factory in New Jersey.

The boys said that spending time in the Vater Factory, witnessing a small factory producing some of the greatest drumsticks on the market and supplying the drumming world was quite humbling.

Vater drum sticks are 100% made in the USA Sav said. Most are hand-rolled by the owner of the company, Mr. Alan Vater literally. Wow!

The LP Cowbell Factory was a sight to be seen - very industrial and old school one of the last working factories of its kind in New Jersey. The machining and consistency of each cowbell are second to none. Even the way they print the images on their cowbells is more like an illusion rather than a method, Sav said.

So take time out of your busy schedule, come into the store, and see the wonderful things we sourced from the US

Ask the boys about their trip and the products they saw you can be sure they will be more than excited to let you know all about it!

You can also be sure to grab an awesome deal as Drummers Dream wont be beaten on price and especially service!
