The Byzance Traditional 18” Trash China delivers a superb trashy tone with a medium spread and an agile feel. Its trashy, explosive attack and dark sound are both powerful and nuanced. Its unusual sandblasted surface gives it a soft feel and a distinct matte finish. Its low, dark and somewhat dry washy sound isn’t too soft or loud. LP’s Ritchie Gajate-Garcia Signature Djembe is made from Romanian Tilia wood, which produces a wide dynamic range of high and low tones and is significantly lighter in weight than other wood djembes.
