Toms and bass drum are built from 8 plies of Hard Rock Maple with 45-degree/60-degree back-cut bearing edges, while snares feature 10 plies with a 45-degree edge for added cut and projection. Performance Series drums share many hardware details with the Collectors Series, including Suspended Tom Mounts (STM), quarter-sized turret lugs, and triple-flange graduated counter hoops.
