This Design Series' shell pack features 100% North American 8-ply maple shells constructed with HVLT grain orientation technology that deliver warm punch and satisfying resonance. The chrome hardware features with low-mass mini-turret lugs, triple-flange hoops, STM (Suspension Tom Mounts) for reduced tension on mounted toms, and True-Pitch' Tuning for increased tuning control.
This kit offers 8x10" and 9x12" mounted toms, 14x16" floor tom, an 18x22" kick drum and a bonus DW Design 14x5.5" aluminium snare + DW 5000 series 5piece Hardware set (1x Snare Stand, 1x HiHat Stand, 1x Kick Pedal, 2x Boom Stand).

Crashes are dark, warm, smoky, soft, very low pitched, with a soft response and short sustain. Rides are extremely dry, musical, very controllable with an excellent stick definition, but still crashables. Hi Hats feature a warm chick, dry sound, good response and great control.
