Forged from the legendary 602 Bronze (CuSn20), offering a complete new wide and dynamic sound dimension, developed in close collaboration with Vinnie Colaiuta, handcrafted from start to finish by highly skilled Swiss craftsmen, conceived and executed according to Vinnie's uncompromising sound concepts for a wide all-round application. Formula 602 Modern Essentials cymbals combine the essence of the Formula 602 Classic Sounds models – transparency and stick definition – with the richness, warmth, darkness and a bit of complexity of the Signature Traditionals series besides providing slightly more pizzazz than its Classic Sounds siblings.

The 16” HHX Thin Crash introduces a whole new design to the HHX line. Starting with a round of sparse hammering, followed by lathing, then denser HHX hammering over top, the result is a crash cymbal that is thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Studio Crashes it replaces. A smaller bell also ensures a faster attack and a crash cymbal that trends lighter in weight than most thin crashes. The versatility to easily cross musical styles has always been a hallmark of the HHX line, and the HHX 16” Thin Crash is no exception. Created specifically for low volume sessions, Quiet Tone Practice Cymbals are designed to respond and feel like traditional cymbals – right down to their clearly defined bell – so you won’t have to hit and play harder than you do during performances. This is not the case with other practice cymbals, which can sound muffled or dead – not a good quality in a practice cymbal.

Hand-hammered and completely unlathed, Byzance Dark cymbals immediately hit the sweet spot with crashes that open up just enough, then get out of the way. The hihats and rides provide clarity, cut and volume, along with a prominent dark tone brought out by their unique surfaces. Made in Turkey from B20 bronze and hand-hammered into shape. The surfaces here are left unlathed creating the dark finish except for the Spectrum Hihats and Ride which are partially lathed in a spiral pattern.
