The 20” crash is quick and controlled with a lower tone and explosive attack. The thin weight produces a quick decay with a deep tone that sits perfectly in today’s music.

The SABIAN 21" HHX Groove Ride is a funky blend of stroke and tone in a cymbal with simmering sound and feel. Until HHX, it was impossible to project darkness. But the dark, simmering sound, agitated bite and "Tone Projection" design of HHX makes this series more effective than others. Other cymbals may generate darkness, but HHX stirs up more simmering heat, more musical dirt, more of what drummers want to hear – and projects it. It gets you heard. And felt. The Pure Alloy Extra Hammered Crash-Ride is a cymbal you can be confident in, and when taken on a gig, it will function however you need. As a crash, it opens easily with a warm voice and medium sustain allowing it to be used in any musical application. As a ride, it features great separation between the stick definition on top and the warm wash underneath, and the bell is clear and pronounced providing plenty of cut when needed. This is a cymbal that any working drummer would benefit from having in their cymbal bag.
