The SABIAN 21" HHX Groove Ride is a funky blend of stroke and tone in a cymbal with simmering sound and feel. Until HHX, it was impossible to project darkness. But the dark, simmering sound, agitated bite and "Tone Projection" design of HHX makes this series more effective than others. As a ride, it features great separation between the stick definition on top and the warm wash underneath, and the bell is clear and pronounced providing plenty of cut when needed.
