Smaller and lighter than its 22" and 24" cousins, the 18" AA Apollo opens the door to a greater range of pitch to the Apollo family, with more crashable options. Big & Ugly is a collection of unique Ride cymbals from SABIAN. They are big, dark, loose and dynamic – but most importantly, they are huge fun to play. Although the collection contains cymbals that span multiple SABIAN cymbal series, they are all united by their great complexity, versatility and distinctive appearance.

After a long process of research and experimentation, in close cooperation with our Artist Federico Paulovich, the new “Est.1931 Series” is here, as a tribute to the year of our company’s foundation. “Est.1931” cymbals are dry, smooth, warm with a traditional sound, but updated to perfectly fit new modern music styles. Crashes are dark, warm, smoky, soft, very low pitched, with a soft response and short sustain. Rides are extremely dry, musical, very controllable with an excellent stick definition, but still crashables. Hi Hats feature a warm chick, dry sound, good response and great control.

Drawing from the spirit of the legendary K Zildjian range, K Custom cymbals are dark, rich and dry and enable today's drummers to utilize complex K sounds in a more modern musical environment. K Zildjian cymbals continue to inspire drummers today with their deep, warm, and expressive sounds developed by Kerope Zildjian in 19th Century Turkey. Elaborate hammering and lathing techniques work the Zildjian alloy into versatile cymbals that are dark yet well suited for a wide variety of musical genres from jazz to rock.

Pure Alloy Custom is a unique series that offers smooth tonality, a great feel under the stick, and a distinctive look on any drum kit. They produce a slightly softer attack with a warmer body and faster decay, while maintaining the bright shimmer and sustain that Pure Alloy is known for.

Made in Germany from Pure Alloy bronze and hammered into shape. To make these cymbals visually stand out, we applied a finish on top called custom smoked-bronze and polished the bottom to a brilliant finish.

Mastersound HiHats feature crimped edges on the bottom cymbal, which not only prevents air lock, but creates a lively, fast “chick” sound and an overall balanced tonal presence. Choose 13” diameter for more control and articulation, or 14” diameter for a versatile range of frequencies and full-bodied response.
