The K Zildjian Sweet Collection extends the iconic K Family into a new direction of tonal colors that are dark, sweet, and responsive. K Sweet Crashes are extra thin in weight with an unlathed bell and feature the traditional K style hammering technique that help to deliver a darker sound with a fast attack and great response.

These hand crafted cymbals look as they sound dark, and complex. Reminiscent of cymbals from the 50s and 60s yet distinctly modern and relevant for today's music, Kerope is named in honor of Kerope Zildjian, who presided over one of the most storied periods in Zildjian history.
The Kerope line draws from Zildjian's rich history and cymbal making expertise to bring forth the most authentic vintage K recreation to date. Drawing from the foundation of other Big Apple rides, this flat ride combines many elements for a unique cymbal. Starting off, the thin weight allows this cymbal to be very expressive regardless of the dynamic level. Next, the unlathed surface and lack of a bell produce razor sharp definition wrapped in an earthy, raw vibe. Finally, there is a slight bow in the shape which adds a roar and hint of sizzle in the wash and creates a low, breathy response when crashed.

Like a great recording made even better, the SABIAN 16" Vault Artisan Crash has been remastered for deeper, warmer, more musically complex tones.
