This special effects crash cymbal has a unique set of laser generated "cut outs" that allow it to produce a quick, dry and trashy sound used for accenting and punctuating. The brilliant finish makes this "must have" shimmer like any A Custom.
The choice of renowned rock, metal and fusion drummers, A Customs feature a brilliant finish and radical new hammering techniques that deliver a crisp, sweet, sophisticated A Zildjian sound, but with a contemporary feel. A Customs are not too dark and not too bright with a fast response and clean attack.

Paiste 900 Series cymbals are crafted from 2002 Bronze in a sophisticated hybrid manufacturing process refined by Swiss hand hammering and lathing. Innovative design provides 900 Series cymbals with greater flexibility, resulting in a giving feel and outstanding playability at a modest price.

Thinner than a cup chime or ice bell, but much thicker than a splash, the 7” AA MAX Chime sounds great on its own or you can mount it upside down on top of other cymbals like Mike does. Crisp, clear and well defined while also fitting in with any melody.

Zildjian's classic sound is embodied by A Zildjian and immortalized in countless recordings by the greatest drummers of all time. Known for their versatility, these bright cymbals range from paper thin and delicate to extra heavy and cutting. Recent adjustments were made to the curvature and weights of many current models to capture the sweet spot of the classic A sound, producing crashes, rides, and hats that reflect today's musical styles.

Designed for Mike Portnoy, this stacking of a special design China Kang over a special-design Splash or Crash – depending upon which model – provides a rapid-fire burst of attack. The SABIAN 8” High Max Stax features an 8” China Kang over an 8” Max Stax Splash – both cymbals have unlathed edges for durability and power. The 10” Mid Max Stax features a 10” Max Stax China Kang over a 10” Max Stax Splash – again, both cymbals are designed with unlathed edges for power and toughness. And the 12” Low Max Stax features a 12” Max Stax China Kang over a 14” Max Stax Crash. SABIAN introduces HH Remastered – with more hammering, more complexity, and more tone. Much like a remastered classic album is taken from the great to the sublime, HH Remastered adds complexity and tone to each cymbal, delivering unmatched sonic texture across the entire line.

The Byzance Brilliant 18” Trash China has a vigorous attack note delivering trashy cut along with shimmering sustain backed by complex tone. Hole cut-outs allow the china to roar to life and decay quickly for faster accents. The result is a classic brilliant cymbal loaded with bite.

The Zildjian Oriential FX cymbals are a wonderful accent for adding a bright, trashy sound to your kit. They deliver an explosive response, but with a rapid decay.

The SABIAN 7" Alu Bell features a dome-shape with narrow striking edge. Aluminium construction creates clear, musical bell-like response. It's also very lightweight, producing long, sustaining notes. Each Alu Bell is individually created using traditional sand-casting methods, so each Bell has a rough surface. While Alu Bells are comparatively thick and have an unfinished look, their tone is sweet and musical, with exceptional sustain.

The Byzance Dual chinas are already popular for their explosiveness and trashy tonality. By adding holes throughout, the response is much faster and offers more cut. The sustain is also shorter, giving you a cymbal that reacts quickly then gets out of the way so that your other cymbals and sounds on your kit can be heard.
