These venerable cymbals – developed during the 1960’s rapid expansion of popular music were faithfully recreated and re-launched by Paiste in 2005. Giant Beat cymbals offer the big, warm, brilliant vintage sound that takes you straight back to the roots of Rock.

Bright. Stronger high-end than Thin Crash.
Zildjian's classic sound is embodied by A Zildjian and immortalized in countless recordings by the greatest drummers of all time. Known for their versatility, these bright cymbals range from paper thin and delicate to extra heavy and cutting. Recent adjustments were made to the curvature and weights of many current models to capture the sweet spot of the classic A sound, producing crashes, rides, and hats that reflect today's musical styles.

After a long process of research and experimentation, in close cooperation with our Artist Federico Paulovich, the new “Est.1931 Series” is here, as a tribute to the year of our company’s foundation. “Est.1931” cymbals are dry, smooth, warm with a traditional sound, but updated to perfectly fit new modern music styles. Crashes are dark, warm, smoky, soft, very low pitched, with a soft response and short sustain. Rides are extremely dry, musical, very controllable with an excellent stick definition, but still crashables. Hi Hats feature a warm chick, dry sound, good response and great control.

With an exceptionally quick and sensitive response from the lightest touch, S Family thin crashes feature a bright, full crash sound with a beautiful shimmery sustain. Smaller size thin crashes are light and quick, and also work well as stacker cymbals.

The HHX Thin Crash are thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Studio Crashes they replace.  The smaller raw bell ensures faster attack and shimmering dark tone.  These tend to be a bit lighter weight than a typical Thin Crash.

Effortless touch and clean sound. This is Meinl Pure Alloy. A timeless voice formed with fully lathed surfaces allows them to be expressive in virtually any style. Their refined nature has two sides: polished definition met by a velvety wash that encompasses a full tonal spectrum. Shimmering, smooth sounds bounce right along with your stick to create a reactive touch that extends through all dynamic levels. These cymbals cut with agility. Blanketing their superb stick definition is a sustain that plays out with just the right amount of strength and balanced wash.

The Pure Alloy Extra Hammered Crash-Ride is a cymbal you can be confident in, and when taken on a gig, it will function however you need. As a crash, it opens easily with a warm voice and medium sustain allowing it to be used in any musical application. As a ride, it features great separation between the stick definition on top and the warm wash underneath, and the bell is clear and pronounced providing plenty of cut when needed. This is a cymbal that any working drummer would benefit from having in their cymbal bag. 

These hand crafted cymbals look as they sound dark, and complex. Reminiscent of cymbals from the 50s and 60s yet distinctly modern and relevant for today's music, Kerope is named in honor of Kerope Zildjian, who presided over one of the most storied periods in Zildjian history.
The Kerope line draws from Zildjian's rich history and cymbal making expertise to bring forth the most authentic vintage K recreation to date. These hand crafted cymbals look as they sound - dark, and complex. Named in honor of Kerope Zildjian, who presided over one of the most storied periods in Zildjian history, each cymbal is meticulously hand crafted using a 14-step process that encompasses the best of everything we have learned in 390 years of cymbal making.
